Baseball Themed Photo Shoot at the University of Louisville

These images were taken outside Jim Patterson Stadium at the University of Louisville, home of the Louisville Cardinals baseball team! Ryan loves baseball and has been playing since his T-ball days. Unfortunately the COVID-19 lockdowns started right as baseball season began, and he didn't get to play in 2020. In past years I always took photos of Ryan in his baseball uniform. Even though we always bought the individual and team photo and from the sports picture day, I enjoyed having some really nice professional pictures around the field and with his team mates. Since that wasn't going to be happening in the middle of a pandemic, I took him for a baseball-themed photo shoot instead!

Ryan wore his "For the love of the game" t-shirt and we posed him by the baseball bats and sitting on the mound shaped like a giant baseball in front of the stadium. By the time the 2021 season arrived, Ryan wasn't really that interested in playing. I suggested baseball signups, and baseball camp, but he opted for archery instead. Maybe one day he decide to play baseball again, but in the meantime I am SO GLAD that I was able to capture these pictures! Kids' interests and activities may come and go throughout the years, and of course the kids' themselves are going to grow and change from year to year, and the only way to freeze time is by taking pictures while you can.
